Now that the dust has well and truly settled from the sale of 3333 Buchanan Street, we just wanted to drop you a note to express our sincere thanks and gratitude for all that you did as our agents to ensure such a hugely successful and stress-free experience.

We couldn’t have been more happy with both the process and the end result. It’s thanks to your unfailingly good judgment and keen eye to detail that every aspect of the sale went smoothly. You were right on target with your recommendations for pricing, the refresh/updates and staging, and your networking with professional colleagues to put the word out.

Your referral to Changing Places was great—they were very helpful with mover, donation and consignment recommendations. The highest price consigned item—the idiosyncratic Barovier and Toso dining room chandelier and matching sconce—sold quickly and for even more than we might have reasonably expected. And while they were, as you had alerted us, a more expensive option, we were very pleased with their work around packing/prep and movers, in addition to consignment. And because we did so much ourselves, our final charges were less than half their original estimate, so we even received a refund for part of the initial deposit.

Our only regret was not having redone the kitchen ourselves sooner! But we’re sure that the refresh greatly enhanced the appeal of the apartment and contributed to its speedy sale.

So all in all we’re incredibly grateful to you both for guiding us through this critical period in our new adventure. As you’re no doubt aware, your reputation is the absolute best in the field, and it was gratifying to see up close and personal why that reputation is so thoroughly well-deserved. We wish you both continued success and happiness, and if you ever find yourselves in Paris do please look us up—we’d be delighted to get together!
