A 100-year-old San Francisco mansion with a view of the length of the Golden Gate Bridge has hit the market for $23.5 million.
The 7,000-square-foot mansion is located in the city’s posh Presidio Heights and has oversized windows throughout to frame views of the bridge and San Francisco Bay, according to agent Nina Hatvany of Team Hatvany at Compass in San Francisco, who listed the property last week.
“Acclaimed architect Stephen Sutro, and interior designer, John K. Anderson, worked with the sellers on a comprehensive, multi-year renovation, which completely transformed this exceptional home,” Ms. Hatvany said in an email. “The entire floor plan was rearranged, allowing for a much more modern, family-friendly layout while honoring the original bones of the 1923 residence.”
The renovation also means the home, among the priciest currently for sale in San Francisco, is ready to move into, unlike many other large properties in the area, which may need renovation, the agent added. For More information click here:
